अपने सौंदर्य को निखारना नारी का स्वभाव है । वह अपने रंग-रूप को निखारने की भरसक कोशिश भी करती है । प्रत्येक नारी मन की यही चाह होती है कि वह सुंदर दिखे, उसके लिए वह अनेक सौंदर्य-प्रसाधनों का प्रयोग करती है। आप अपने चेहरे पर कितनी भी लीपा-पोती कर लें, चाहे कितनी भी आधुनिक वेशभूषा धारण कर लें किंतु यदि आपकी आदतें ठीक नहीं होगी तो ऐसी स्थिति में आपकी महंगी वेशभूषा और चेहरे के मेकअप का कोई महत्व नहीं रह जाता। कहा जाता है कि महिलाओं की चाल-ढाल देखकर स्वभाव का अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है । ऐसे में महिलाओं की आदतें सलीकेदार होनी चाहिए, महिलाएं अपने उठने-बैठने पर विशेष ध्यान दें।  बहुत झुक कर कभी ना बैठें, इससे आपका व्यक्तित्व दब कर रह जाता है। नारी का रूप उसके गुणों द्वारा ही उभरकर सामने आता है। नारी चाहे कितनी ही रूपवान एवं सजी-धजी क्यों न हो यदि उसे बोलने‌‌‌‌-चालने उठने‌-बैठने का सलीका नहीं आता हो तो ऐसे में उसकी सुंदरता का कोई अर्थ नहीं रह जाता । महत्वपूर्ण यह है कि आज साज‌-श्रृंगार के अतिरिक्त आप अपने व्यक्तित्व में निखार लाने के प्रति कितनी सजग हैं, कितनी सतर्क हैं।

कुछ महिलाएं बात करते समय अनौपचारिक अदाओं का प्रयोग करने से बाज नहीं आती जैसे होठों व भौंहों को अजीबोगरीब दिशाओं में घुमा-घुमा कर बात करना, आवश्यकता से अधिक हाथों को हिला-हिला कर बात करना तथा कुछ महिलाएं गर्दन की नस-नाड़ियां खींचकर‌-सिकुड़ाकर भी बातें करती है । इन क्रियाओं को जान-बूझकर करना  केवल यह सोच कर कि वे काफी सभ्य लग रही है तो यह उनका सरासर भ्रम है। यह सब देखने में बड़ा हास्यास्पद लगता है। आवश्यकता से अधिक बोलकर भी अपना महत्व ना घटाएं,  सदैव शांत स्वभाव का परिचय दें। चीढ़कर कभी बातें ना करें, गुस्से में पड़ी त्यौरियाँ चेहरे का आकर्षण लुप्त  कर देती है। बहुत अधिक हंसकर बोलना भी ठीक नहीं है। ऐसे में करीब बैठे व्यक्ति तक आपकी बातें कम आती है और आपकी हंसी में उड़े थूक के छींटे अधिक आते हैं। कुछ स्त्रियों को नाखून पालने का शौक रहता है। वे बराबर नाखूनों की सफाई एवं देखभाल नहीं करती है। सिर्फ कुछ महिलाओं की देखा-देखी नाखून बढ़ा लेती है। जो वक्त के अभाव में या आलस्य के कारण उन्हें ठीक से आकार नहीं दे पाती और यूं ही टेढ़े-मेढ़े से नाखून पाल रखती है बैठे-बैठे नेल पॉलिश खुरचती रहती है या फिर दांत से नाखून चबाते रहती है। कुछ महिलाएं होठों की लिपस्टिक बचाने की चाह में होठों को अजीब मुद्रा में घुमा-फिरा कर खाती-पीती है। ऐसे में देखने वाले मन ही मन हंसे बिना नहीं रह सकते। बहुत सी नारियां अपनी शक्ल‌-सूरत से संतुष्ट नहीं होती। ये स्त्रियां अपने व्यक्तित्व पर ध्यान ना देकर सदैव अपनी शक्ल को कोसती रहती है। कुंठाग्रस्त न होकर अपने आत्मविश्वास को जगाएं। तब आप अवश्य ही किसी से कम नहीं लगेगी।  यदि आप यह सोचती है कि सिर्फ मेकअप एवं परिधान से आप अच्छी लगेगी तो यह आपकी भूल होगी। आप सादगी में भी गजब ढा सकती हैं। क्योंकि सादगी भी तो एक क़यामत की अदा होती है। बशर्ते कि आप के वस्त्र साफ एवं स्वच्छ हो और चेहरे पर उदासी का नामोनिशान तक न हो।

Woman's form emerges only by her qualities. No matter how beautiful and adorned the woman is, if she does not know how to sit and speak and get up, then her beauty has no meaning. It is important that in addition to the make-up today, how much are you alert and how much you are alert to enhance your personality. Some women do not desist from using informal gestures while talking, such as talking around the lips and eyebrows in strange directions, talking excessively with hands, and some women dragging the neck veins - She talks even after shrinking. Doing these actions on purpose only thinking that they look decent enough, it is their sheer illusion. It seems ridiculous to see all this. Do not reduce your importance by speaking more than necessary, always show calm nature. Never talk incoherently, angry frowns lose the charm of the face. It is also not right to laugh a lot in such a situation, your talk gets less to the person sitting close and the spit of spit flew more in your laughter. Some women are fond of keeping nails. They do not clean and care for the nails. Only a few women get their nails seen. In the absence of time or due to laziness, they are not able to shape them properly and like this, they keep nail nails crookedly, while sitting, nail polish keeps scratching or chewing nails with teeth. Some women want to save lipstick and eat it in a strange pose. In such a situation, the seeing mind cannot live without laughing. Many women are not satisfied with their appearance.
